FireMonkey needs TLC

There is an interesting in depth blog by Chris Rolliston on some of the issues he has encountered with the recently released FireMonkey framework that comes with Delphi XE2.  A couple of areas that struck me include the issues relating to “Keyboard handling beyond the very basics.” which I came across while trying to build a cross-platform GUI console component and the changes in various property names which adds unnecessary confusion to an already new framework. The blog is worth reading, he cites many areas that need some tender loving care from Embarcadero.
